My Mom hosted Thanksgiving this year and everyone came over to her house with their contributions of delicious food. This year I made my Macaroni & Cheese and Martin & I came up with a drink. We made a festive Cranberry Martini that was really pretty. It had vodka, cranberry juice, ginger ale, and frozen cranberries. We had recently been talking about how when we were all little and had holidays at my Memere and Pepere's house in Lowell we all sat at one big table, so we set three tables end to end and had a big Thanksgiving table like old times. The food was all delicious and it was great to see everyone. Martin and Peps had their usual cribbage match before dinner. I love that we all still get together for holidays and even though we are all getting older and going off in our own directions, for those few days a year we all get together and remember how important it is to be together as a family. I am extremely grateful for the wonderful family that I have.
