Martin and I met up with my family up in NH for the tailend of their summer vacation. They rented a house on Lake Winnipesaukee and we made it up to spend a few days out on the lake on the boat, enjoy the beautiful weather, and spend some quality time with the fam. We went boating for one whole day, stopped to go swimming at a sandbar and four hours later realized that Martin had lost his wedding band. We were so upset but after searching the boat from top to bottom assumed that he had lost it while playing ball in the water. We both accepted that it was gone since once you drop something in the sand its hard enough to find as it is, nevermind other people walking around, and waves as well. My dad was persistent and raced across the lake to where we had been swimming around. Martin and him got out and started looking around. My dad asked what the wedding band looked like and as soon as Martin said it was dark gray, my dad reached down to the bottom of the lake where he was standing and said, "Does it look like this? He just pulled out Martin's wedding band as if he had known exactly where it was the whole time. We couldn't believe it! What are the chances?!
The next day we drove to Castle in the Clouds and spent the day exploring the old castle and all its beautiful rooms and grounds. We even stopped at the fish pond and got to feed some giant rainbow trout and the ducks of course!
