Martin and I were talking about our cat Mojave the other day as we were going through pictures over the past two or so years. When we first went to the RISPCA to get him I knew from the moment I saw him that he was the one. He was so tiny and so adorable. We took him out and let him down on the floor and he just stayed in the corner because he was so scared. There were two other kittens there at the time that had never had much contact with humans and while they ran around and played with toys it was hard to pick them up and hold them. We laugh when we think we were getting a mellow cat or that we were worried he might not be playful. Mojave loves to hide IN things or UNDER things, he runs around like a madman, and he plays catch. Oh yes...catch. He loves popcorn and grapes, as well as his daily CAT food, haha. He waits for us at the top of the stairs or peering out our front door side window when we get home and he is basically the best cat ever. Here are a few pictures that show his personality. The first is Mojave as a kitten, cute little blue eyes, looks like a poofy cotton ball. Then we found out the real Mojave...the one who pretends he can walk on walls, the one who plays catch with his little green mouse (that is him bringing it back to Martin to throw it again), the one who hides in duffel bags, and finally one of my all time favorite pictures...the cat who hides in the refrigerator. So, as you can see our cat is never boring and makes me laugh on a daily basis.
