This photo brings tears to my eyes every time I look at it. I have a love so deep for this man, the man I am so grateful to call my Pepere. His eyes reflect wisdom, faith, and happiness; there are no words to describe what this photo evokes in my heart.
One of the reasons photography is so near and dear to my heart is the emotion that photos carry with them. They are stories being told with words from your heart. With one photo you can feel the sway of your first dance, feel the warmth of a loving glance, and feel the flutter of those very same butterflies when walking down the aisle on your wedding day. Photos remind me what a wonderful family I have and how very blessed I am to have this kind of love. These photos will be around far longer than everyone in them and I know these digital memories will be a loving reminder of happy times, loving embraces, and people who have left footprints on our hearts.
I found a particular set of photos from our honeymoon in Puerto Rico and realized I have not looked at these in over a year. We had such a wonderful time and found a few shots that I love of us.
Our first trip as a married couple, our first horseback ride through the rainforest, a week of pure happiness on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
Matching pj pants, cotton t's, and sun-kissed skin.
Belly laughs, sandcastles, and enjoying the sunshine with this little bundle of joy.
Road trip home, naps in the backseat, a good book, sunburnt faces, and sing-alongs.
Dancing barefoot, laughter, smiling so much my cheeks hurt, and loving my mother more than words can say.
Beautiful eyes, soft curls, champagne, and sisterly love. <3
The cutest couple I know, the two people that have taught me how to live life, to the fullest, and with an unwavering faith in God.
Daddy's little girl, the best father a girl could ask for.
My best friend, the love of my life, my rock, true love.
Just a run down memory lane, a glimpse at the people I am blessed to know, and snippets from this journey we're all on together, called life.
