Patio & Yard

One of the reasons we love our place is the outside seating area. It's enclosed by a white fence and I have strung seashell lights that look great at night all lit up. Our patio set was a gift from a stranger, we'll never know who. We found a few hundred dollars on the ground last year. This type of thing never happens to us but we were pretty ecstatic when we found several big bills strewn about on a road we just happened to be driving on. So that is how our patio set came to be.
Our weber grill is small but works perfectly for just us two. It's portable so if we need to take it with us anywhere we just detach it from the stand and off we go.
I have tomato plants, flowers, and herbs in pots all around the patio area. The weather is perfect in Westport for growing any type of plants outside. There is a phenonmenal hydrangea bush by the garage in our backyard that I love and a flowering tree with beautiful red blooms.
Our bigger yard that is on the side of the garage has our fire pit and a really different umbrella shaped red tree. The numerous bunnies that run around everywhere in our yard hide under there and they think we can't see them.
And our garage has been a life saver with regards to a storage place for us. Martin used 2x4's to create stands for our kayaks on the side of the garage. They hold them out of the way and protects them from damage or bowing. We have a big storage room in the back of the garage where we store decorations, extra boxes, and I have a rack for appliances and decorative platters and pitchers.
And our sunroom feels like part of the outdoors. It is all glass enclosed and is great to sit in during the summer. When it rains you can sit inside and you feel just like you're outside.
